Epiphany Mass @ Home | Matthew 15:10-20: Jesus Invites Us to Give God Our Hearts to Make Whole

Thank God through Jesus and His whole-making salvation for each of us and for people from every tribe, tongue, and nation, there's still hope for everyone in the U.S. in 2021, especially after what we saw done to smear His name at the siege on the Capitol.

Call to Worship | Psalm 29:1-2, 10-11 + Our World Belongs to God (3)

Honor the LORD, you heavenly beings; honor the LORD for His glory and strength. Honor the LORD for the glory of His name. Worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness. ... The LORD reigns as King forever. The LORD gives His people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace.
One: Despair and rebellious pride fill the earth: some, crushed by failure or broken by pain, give up on life and hope and God; others, shaken, but still hoping for human triumph, work feverishly to realize their dreams.
All: As believers in God, we also struggle with the spirits of this age, resisting them in the power of the Spirit, testing them by God’s sure Word.
Matt Maher, 2018 A.D.

Hear the angels sing, “There's hope for everyone!’
To announce our King, “There's hope for everyone!”
What Good News they bring, “There's hope for everyone!”
Angels sing, “There's hope for everyone!”
They came from afar, “There's hope for everyone!”
Wise men saw the star, “There's hope for everyone!”
Shepherds heard the choir, “There's hope for everyone!”
From afar, “There's hope for everyone!”

We are waiting on the promise
For the One who lights the darkness!
Bending low to be among us,
Bring Your glory in the highest, Jesus!

Come let us adore, “There's hope for everyone!”
On the manger floor, “There's hope for everyone!”
What are you waitin' for? “There's hope for everyone!”
Come adore, there's hope for everyone! (Chorus)

Coming on the clouds, there's hope for everyone!
Hear the trumpets sound, there's hope for everyone
All of heaven shouts, “There's hope for everyone!”
On the clouds, there's hope for everyone! (Chorus 2x)

(2) Crisis

Prayer of Confession + Assurance |
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me, a sinner ...
(We turn to Jesus) He will wipe away every tear from our eyes and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore for the former things have passed away. And He who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new ... these words are trustworthy and true.” + Revelation 21:4-5

(4) Christ

Ike Ndolo, 2013 A.D.

My hands shake with guilt and shame,
Still You love me, love me.
Your eyes are bright and shine
So full of mercy, mercy.

Jesus, Bread of Life, Bread for all ...
This is my offering, this my everything,
The Son of God who bled and died and rose again for me.

Your flesh You gave for all s
So we could see You, see You.
Your blood poured for all
So we could know You, know You.

(5) Church

Common Hymnal, 2019 A.D.

You, You’ re not afraid of our questions,
And You, You’ re not offended by our fears.
And we, we just really want to trust You,
So we bring what we have, will You meet us here?

Lord, You have told us You’re for us
Even when we don’ t understand.
And we are leaning on that promise,
Believing You are who You say You are.

You, You don’ t see us for our failures.
You, You always find the best in us.
And we, we may stray, but You are faithful,
So we fall into You, we know You’ll meet us here!
(Chorus 2x)

You said You are the only Way, Truth, and the Life!
You stay the same, O great I AM, our reason why!
